How is argan oil made
4: Argan oil is still made with the traditional methods, the Berber women will collect the Argan nuts after they fall from the Argan tree late July beginning of August. After being collected the Argan Fruit are dried in the open air for a while to help remove the fleshy pulp. This is done by hand so is very time consuming and done by the local Berber women. The nuts are then crushed into a brown paste until it thickens, then it is pressed to extract the oil, this is what is called (cold pressed) authentic Argan Oil should always say cold pressed on it.
